I’m here with my first product review on What She Spotted for all of you. The product is Shahnaz Husain Nano Sun Block’.
A unique sunblock formulation, based on the latest nano technology, it is designed to deliver sun-protective properties deep into the skin. Of SPF 25, it provides broad spectrum protection from the sun’s UVA and UVB rays. Containing natural antioxidants and re-hydrants, like vitamin E, green tea, carrot seed, ginseng, sunflower oil, it blocks out harmful sun damage, maintaining the desired moisture level, removing tan and visibly lightening skin colour. A non greasy formulation, it provides a smooth matte texture, leaving the skin soft, radiant and youthful. It’s a nano sun block where nano technology used in formulation helps in the absorption of the precious herbs with atomic precision.

Her Take on Shahnaz Husain Nano Sun Block
Shahnaz Husain is the most reputed herbal brand and I have been a big fan of this brand, you can read some of my posts of this brand HERE so I tried this sun block with some high expectations. The product comes in a yellow/orange tube packaging with white flip flop cap. The texture of the product is not thick nor runny, quite mousse like. It has a some kind of light fruit like smell which becomes faint after a while. It doesn’t give a matte effect on my skin, I feel sweating after some time and never feel comfortable with it. It worked well as an anti-tanning product on my sister, but I can’t say much about it because my skin is not tanned. The product claims to give whitening to the skin which is not true at all. I gave up using this product after finishing half of the tube.
What She liked
- The packaging is travel-friendly.
- Faint fruity smell.
- Contains natural ingredients like Vitamin E, green tea, carrot seed, ginseng, etc.
- Broad spectrum protection from UVA and UVB rays.
- It works well as an anti-tanning product.
- Easy available.
What She didn’t
- Makes my skin oily and sweaty
- Does not moisturize the skin.
- Contains a lot of chemicals.
- Contains parabens
Overall it’s a totally disappointing product of Shahnaz Husain. I have used many products from this brand but never felt such disappointment. I can’t use it in summer because it makes my skin greasy and can’t in winter due to lack of moisturizer.
Will she recommend it to you?
No, you can invest your money in any other good sunscreen, there are many options for you.
